Dell Streak Now Runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb
Android 3.0 Honeycomb announcement we’ve heard that it was ported on the Dell Streak 5 inch tablet. The result is the video below, showing the slate in action. If you remember well, the product launched with Android 1.6, so this is quite an “upgrade”.
This build is based on the SDK emulator image and right now it’s unstable and laggy. There’s also a Dell Streak 7 version in development and considering the fact that the software is not finished, we wouldn’t recommend messing with your Streak. MoDaCo is working hard on fixing all bugs and creating a viable version, so you can follow their progress here.
